The Medical Missionaries of Mary

From the Medical Missionaries of Mary’s newsletter written by Sister Joanne Bierl, MMM. “During our MMM annual meetings last year, our theme centered around an elderly woman who faithfully planted seeds on the side of a barren mountain despite ridicule and lack of interest from others…it was only the next generation who came to see the beauty of that same mountain side and understood the fidelity of that woman. We are that woman….faithfully planting seeds and if we are fortunate, we can see a shoot begin to grow, but for the most part, it is an act of fidelity…trusting growth will come in God’s time. Slowly and together, we change the face of the mountain.” Well said.
